Over the course of four weeks in July, we threw open the doors to our Beit Midrash for everyone to study together, free of charge, during this time of crisis and opportunity. Almost 70 scholars, teachers, and experts from the Shalom Hartman Institute lead hundreds of sessions focused on the emerging challenges to a vibrant Jewish community, guided by four questions:
What are our moral priorities and responsibilities in a time of crisis?
Where will we find spiritual sustenance in this time of loss?
How is the meaning of 'home' changing?
How does transformation emerge in a time of pandemic, disruption, and catastrophe?
